I am writing this blog after a long siesta; fifteen months to be precise. Actually, it is a personal note for my website visitors, social media connections and friends. Thank you for liking my post/s, purchasing my books and downloading free stuff.
I am a storyteller and therefore love readers. So, if you are one of those rare and extinct species then message me your email id for regular updates. I promise two things – your internet mail address will never be spammed or sold. Book reviewers and book blog owners are eligible for free EBooks. Write to me with a link to your profile. Spoiler – I do not provide paperbacks. What I provide is enthralling, entertaining, thought provoking and compelling digital and printed stories which are intensely researched and enriched with cultural and socio-economic elements.
To the entire reading community – please support writers. Mentioned below are some of the cruel facts of fiction writing and writers.
– The turnaround time to write and edit a reader friendly short story is about 2 months.
– For full-fledged fiction novels this period ranges between 18 to 24 months and sometimes more.
– Most of the writers pen down stories at night as they have a day job.
– The literary horizon reflects few success stories. Even then it takes a lifetime. Sometimes two! It makes me wonder if reincarnation is a reality and not just a myth. No, I am not joking!
This blog post is a story in itself … if you uncover its hidden agonies, challenges and compromises.
